Welcome to CodeJourney.ai (“CodeJourney,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, workshops, private lessons, and related services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to participate in CodeJourney workshops or private lessons.

By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Services

  • Code Workshops – Structured, 2-week guided programs focused on building real applications with AI-powered coding assistance.
  • Private Lessons – Personalized, 1-on-1 coding lessons tailored to your goals.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time.

3. Accounts & Communications

You may need to provide accurate contact and payment information to book lessons.

You agree to receive communications related to your bookings, including confirmations, reminders, and service updates.

You can opt out of promotional emails at any time.

4. Payments & Refunds

  • Workshops are priced at $500 per program.
  • Private Lessons are priced at $100 per hour.
  • Payments are processed securely through third-party providers.
  • All bookings must be paid in advance.

Refund Policy:

  • Workshop payments are refundable up to 7 days before the workshop start date.
  • Private lesson cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a refund or reschedule credit.
  • Missed sessions without notice are non-refundable.

5. Student Responsibilities

By enrolling in CodeJourney, you agree to:

  • Attend sessions on time and prepared.
  • Use CodeJourney materials and resources for personal, non-commercial learning.
  • Not engage in disruptive or harmful behavior during lessons.
  • Not misuse AI tools or attempt to reverse-engineer CodeJourney systems.

6. Intellectual Property

All content provided by CodeJourney (including course materials, guides, and lesson structures) is the intellectual property of CodeJourney.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for your own learning.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell CodeJourney content without written permission.

7. AI Disclaimer

Our workshops and lessons incorporate AI tools to accelerate learning. While we guide you in using AI for coding:

  • AI-generated code may require human review and adjustments.
  • We make no guarantee of fitness for production use without further validation.
  • You are responsible for testing and deploying your own projects.

8. Limitation of Liability

CodeJourney is an educational service, not a professional coding or development agency.

We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of materials, projects, or code developed during workshops or lessons.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to services if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
  • Misuse CodeJourney materials

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with the revised Effective Date. Continued use of CodeJourney services after changes indicates acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
